Ultraplay Podcast 032 Gordon Edge

Gordon Edge has made us a sublime mix, (not Subliminal ;-) . As we mentioned previously, Gordon is well known for his sunny Balearic Tech House, but is not so well known for his darker sounds… After listening to this, perhaps he will be, as this is one of the best mixes we’ve heard for a while. It’s dark as hell, and is groovier and deeper than the Mariana Trench!

Gordon is currently on tour in Brazil, so we’re waiting for him to get back to the UK, so that we can ambush him for the track list ID. So check back on this post for updates if you want to know who the artists and labels are on this wicked mix…

You can catch Gordon Edge’s debut appearance of darkness at Ultraplay – this Sunday (29/01/12) at Cafe 1001. Details here.

In the meantime, just kick back and check this out!

Enjoy!

I’m loving this mix. Gordon came down to the recent Ultraplay 6th birthday to soak up the Ultraplay atmos in prep for his debut appearance at UP this month. I know this dark set he’s been crafting is gonna go down really well. The Utraplay crowd are gonna love this party on Sunday! Well done G! Can’t wait.
