The summer may be coming to a close, but the start of Autumn also marks the start of peak-time clubbing season for Ultraplay, which means celebration time as the doors of Cafe 1001 open earlier and close much later...

As always, we've come up with an awesome lineup of fresh DJ talent with some new faces for Ultraplay.

Opening the party this month, making their debut appearance, will be Joe Morley (East Project) and Jant Morr (Clocked). Joe and Jant who play some seriously cool tech house beats, will be opening up the party and doing a special back to back session to show the Brick Lane massive what they're all about.

Joe Morley's sound is influenced by the likes of Enzo SiragusaFuse (Pedro, Rhadoo, Raresh), Loco Dice, tINI and Margaret Dygas. Joe's also gained a lot of influence off the beaten path from some as of yet undiscovered Romanian and European electronic artists. Joe's not been spinning long, yet he's already established himself around the London circuit, playing at various top venues such as; 93 Feet East, Cargo, Warehouse and EGG, too mention but a few. Joe's spun with artists such as tINI, Hector, Herodot, Xandru, The Martinez Brothers, Subb-an, Sam Russo, Rich Nxt, Samu.l, Robert James, FB Julian, Miguel Campbell, Richy Ahmed, Russ Yallop, Sam Russo, Zoo Project and soon to be; Adam Beyer's Drumcode in October. He's also running a weekly radio show with fellow DJ and AoD resident Charlie Dave Kent. Needless to say after all that name dropping;-) Joe is definitely one to watch out for.

Joe, James

Jant Morr (James Morris), is an East London based underground house DJ, who started out DJing in his local clubs, not so way back, in 2011. During this short time, Jant got spotted by London's 'Clocked' who immediately made him one of their residents. Since then, Jant has developed a nice dubby, techno style which has led him on to play at a large number of respected places such as Crucifix Lane, Rhythm Factory, ICAN Studio's, Camp Basement and Hoxton Gallery.

Given how far Joe and Jant have come already with their awesome music, it's safe to say it's well worth getting down to 1001 nice and early so as not to miss their special b2b set for Ultraplay. They'll be kicking off at 2pm and as always, entrance is free.

Michael Scullion

Our third special guest this month, who's also making his first appearance at Ultraplay, is London based DJ/Producer Michael Scullion (Hauswerx).

From a young age Michael started playing the London clubs and bars scene and quickly earned recognition before gaining a residency for Hauswerx. This brought on stints playing in venues such as Victorian Vaults, Public Life, The Russian Bar and Ministry of Sound. Michael, who plays some pretty slick sounds, has played for such names as Jaded, Magma and Hauswerx supporting the likes of Adam Beyer, Marc Romboy, Heartthrob, Raymundo Rodriguez & Chris Stanford. Michael's currently working on a range of upcoming projects including a new club night and his own productions. So here's your chance to hear him in action at Ultraplay!

As the sun sets and darkness draws in, Maker + Meyer will be taking center stage for a rare night-fall set, which judging by their love for Techno, is bound to be nothing less than epic. Expect the usual full-throttle, techno from a duo who have long built up a reputation amongst Brick Lane's Sunday revellers.

Since Maker + Meyer's last outing at Cafe 1001, they’ve kept themselves busy with plenty of production projects. Maker (aka Jon Daou) has been working on his first techno album.  Outside of the dance music world, Jon has had two short film scores screened at the Barbican Cinema and a live electroacoustic piece performed by members of the London Symphony Orchestra.

Meyer has also been busy in the studio over the past few months working on his latest EP, 'Synthetic Memories'.  The EP is a diverse collection of electronica and ambient tracks, each with their own motif and imaginary story behind them. Meyer blends acoustic and electronically sculpted textures, rhythms and harmony in such a way that allows for a completely natural progression and flow…something which you can certainly expect to be hearing in the duo's set this month at Ultraplay...

Lastly, Darren C will be drawing the final curtain on this sure to be, bonkers E1 party, playing no doubt what will be an endless myriad of utterly of sick Techno that'll completely destroy your mind  - forever!

Party starts at 2pm! Try and get down early to avoid the queues and ensure you get in to 1001.

Free Entry All Day - Warehouse Room, Cafe 1001, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL.
